Clinical Support Manager (RN) Job Posting

Span America is seeking a proven wound care professional to help us build upon our long-held commitment to clinical efficacy, ongoing caregiver/patient education, and emerging medical technologies.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Support Manager include: providing technical and clinical support to customers; conducting clinical studies and presenting them in oral, poster, and published venues;  supporting the medical sales team with educational training tools; developing on-line or live education programs with professional c.e.u. approval; providing clinical input to product development; presenting a clinical lobbying presence to ensure correct product coding for reimbursement; and communicating trends to management through participation in appropriate industry oganizations.
Requirements: Minimum five years RN experience. Ideal candidate will be a Certified WOCN. Strong writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills are a must. Applicant should have a strong working knowledge of pressure management products and practices relating to thereapuetic support surfaces, seating products, and patient positioners.
The position requires residence in the Greenville, SC area, where Span-America’s corporate offices, R&D facilities, and primary manufacturing operation are headquartered. Occasional travel is required.  Reports to: Director, Medical Marketing.
